The Ninewells Project
For this project I was working in a group with Med students from the University of Dundee. The project was hosted at Ninewells hospital in Dundee and the briefs were set by multiple departments from the hospital. Working with Candice ( A Masters Product Design student) Wei Yun, Chris and Razma (Medicine students) we were tasked with creating an intervention for the Diabetes Clinic. It's aim was to help reduce complications caused my high blood glucose levels by supporting patients.
The Final Design
The final design, completed by Candice Swanepole, will be displayed on the wall in the education room in the clinic at Ninewells.
It would be accompanied by the poster versions of the leaflets that are used at the clinic, we chose to create a poster version of these leaflets as the clinic doesn't always have the leaflets to hand and when they do they are not always in colour.
To help us understand the patients our project would be reaching we created four personas, I drew out the characters to help us connect better with the persona we were creating.
